EP-1 is an organic based compound containing 10-12% oxidizing agent and is not solvent based. It is used as a flocculating agent as well as a decolourizer. Proper useage of EP-1 includes the application of 1% or 10 % solution of EP-1 with water. Appropriate dosage of this solution is to be administered based on the quality and nature of the effluent being treated. |

Unlike other chemicals used for decolorizing, EP-1 is not solvent based. Therefore, it gives better results on Chemical Oxygen Demand and Biochemical Oxygen Demand respectively. |
