EP-CO is used to oxidize crude or processed oil that is floating on fresh or salt water. It can also can be applied to oil covering sand, rocks, soil or cement. EP-CO is 70% oxidizing agent, produces no residual chlorine, does not affect aquatic life (i.e. fish, biomass, and aquatic plants). |
The application of EP-CO is very simple and it is highly effective for the removal of oil on the surface of water. The treatment application process of EP-CO does not produce any residual chlorine, making it an environmentally friendly chemical that does not harm aquatic life. |
This product when coming in contact with oil reacts with the chemical to form water soluble emulsions which later oxidize within 36 to 48 hours to the atmosphere in a vapor state in a neutral diluted form (5 ppb). Thus, the water becomes free from floating oil. This product contains 70% oxidizing agent. After dosing EP-CO immediately reacts with the floating oil (crude oil), the resulting reaction: Is nil residual chlorine and it will not affect the aquatic life (i.e. fish, biomass or aquatic plants). |
